Second Sundays
Downtown Bel Air. Noon-4pm.
love interview continued from page 8
What other work were you able to do
while you were there?
I was able to complete a number of pen and
ink drawings, in the style of the Old Masters.
And of course I took a lot of photographs of
the mountains, the vineyards, and the street
scenes. I'll be able to use them for reference
for other works.
What's next, now that you're back in the
States?
There are so many paintings that I started on this
trip that I'm itching to finish! I have a number
of exhibits coming up: a show at
Chesapeake
College
is ending on November 6, followed by
a show with the
Maryland Society of Portrait
Painters
at the
Washington College Museum.
"Postcards from the South of France" will be on
display at
FastFrame Bel Air,
beginning with a
Reception on December 4, from 4 to 8 pm. In
addition to paintings from the trip, the exhibit
will also include postcards of many of my works,
including the painting of
Emmanuel Episcopal
Church
(on the cover).
