An original painting, sculpture, ceramic or
glasswork is a gift that will be treasured for
generations. It not only reflects the soul of the
artist, but your soul as well, because you chose
it. It reflects a piece of you that you cherish and
want to share with the recipient. A work of art
can recall a time or a feeling that is personally
moving or important. And the exact same piece
of art work will mean totally different things to
different people, because every person is unique.
The gift of an original piece of art work can
inspire and has the power to nurture and
nourish the spirit.
One-of-a-kind works of art by local artists
are available (and affordable) at a number of
galleries throughout the County. Often, the
subject of these local paintings and photographs
might be a local landscape or landmark,
enhancing its significance.
Arts by the Bay, a cooperative gallery located
at 500B Warren Street in Havre de Grace, is
celebrating its 2 year anniversary in November.
Works in every medium imaginable photography,
jewelry, woodworking, painting, sculpture, and
more are available for sale.
In Bel Air, the
Harford Artists Gallery, at
