a nanny in 1991. Five years later, she married
and moved here permanently. "Opening a tea
room was always something I had wanted to
do. When I was able to buy this house, I knew
it was the right time."
When you make a reservation for tea, you
have your choice of three rooms: the main
dining room on the first floor, or either of two
more intimate rooms upstairs. In addition to
an intimate tea for two,
The Tea Trolley can
accommodate parties from 10 to 30, for any
occasion from baby or bridal shower to
birthday party. Another room upstairs is
reserved for children's parties, which include
a special menu, craft project, storytime and
dress-up costumes.
For Mother's Day teas,
The Tea Trolley will
have a special menu which includes a savory,
salad, and soup (all home made), along with
an assortment of finger sandwiches and the
selection of miniature desserts. If you can't
make reservations in time, book tea with
Mom for another day.
The Tea Trolley is open
Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10am to
4pm. It's a short ride back in time a perfect
excuse to pamper mom.

the community gathering place that a center
for the arts will provide. As a former physical
education teacher and coach, I am well aware of
the tremendous support system in place to nurture
athletes from a very young age. Let's also provide
the same support to nurture artistic talents in the
children, families, seniors and developmentally
challenged citizens of our community. Let's
challenge them all to grow, explore their creative
talents and strive to achieve their own personal
best in the arts.
Construction of the
Center for the Arts will be
the result of a grassroots effort by the people of
Harford County who make their support of the
arts clear to the elected officials. We have a lot
of talent in Harford County and we can't ignore
it or let it slip through the cracks. Your support
is critical. Join the
Center for the Arts, as an
individual, a family or a business patron.
Support local arts organizations and events.
Remind your elected officials to provide a
home for the arts in Harford County.
