The Writer's Block
Harford County Librarian Wendie Old has published
both fiction and non-fiction books for early readers
and middle school readers. Her experience with
children and books spans over more than 30 years
`in the stacks' at a number of branches, combined
with a kind sense of humor, creates stories that
capture the interest, while presenting fun facts.

Interview with An Artist
Our cover artist, Barbara Love, works in oil,
watercolor, pastel and alkyds. From Harford
County roots, Barbara has traveled extensively,
studying and painting. Her work is in private
collections throughout the US and abroad.
